Getting to Čiovo by boat

Čiovo faces Trogir across a narrow channel and stretches out towards Okrug and Slatine, so most of its villas and beaches sit far closer to the water than to a road. A transfer that lands you at the nearest cove is often a shorter journey than one that has to loop over the bridge.

By road everything on Čiovo funnels through the Trogir bridge, which is a genuine bottleneck in season and can turn a fifteen-minute drive into an hour. Arriving by sea skips the crossing altogether.
